Description

Trinocular Microscope for Mobile Repair with 2K HD Camera

A trinocular microscope for mobile repair has two jobs: give your eyes a clean stereo view and send that same view to a screen. The RF4 RF7050Pro-2KC3 does both. You get 7X–50X continuous zoom, a 45-degree inclined trinocular head that swivels 360 degrees, and the RF-2KC3 2K camera on the third port. Every dead phone, charging issue, or hang on logo fault that ends up as a hardware fault on the motherboard lands under this scope first.

Optical Head and Zoom Range

The head carries WF10X/22mm wide-field eyepieces and a 0.7–5.0X zoom objective. Multiply the two and you get the 7X–50X range. Zoom is continuous, so you stop exactly where the component looks right instead of jumping between fixed steps.

RF4 added a 6-gear mechanical lock to this version. Each gear stops at a set magnification, so you return to the same view fast after you lift your eyes or move the board. That saves real time when you switch between a wide board scan and a close look at a single pad.

The stereo design gives you depth. You see how high a solder ball sits, how far a jumper wire clears its neighbour, and whether flux still hides a bridge. A flat screen-only view cannot show those details with the same confidence.

RF-2KC3 Camera and Screen Workflow

The camera mounts through a 0.5X CTV adapter. A transparent mirror inside the adapter lets the eyepieces and the monitor zoom together, so what you see through the lens matches what the screen shows. Focus is manual.

The RF-2KC3 uses a 1/2.8 inch Sony IMX335 CMOS sensor and outputs 1920×1080 at 60 frames per second over HDMI. It also offers USB output, mouse control, photo capture, and video recording. Two USB 2.0 ports take a flash drive and a mouse. Power input is DC 5V 2A, and the menu runs in English or Chinese.

Use the screen for work you used to squint through. Record a before-and-after of a repair for the customer. Show a junior technician exactly where to place a probe. Keep your neck straight on a long reballing job, because you can work from the monitor instead of the eyepieces.

Lighting and Stand Build

The 144 LED ring light has a 60mm inside diameter and gives white, adjustable light across the board. It takes AC 100–240V at 50/60Hz and outputs DC 12V at up to 700mA. Even light removes the shadows that hide hairline traces and tiny passive components.

The support column measures Φ32mm, the lens aperture is Φ76mm, and the centre distance is 155mm. The lifting range is 50mm, enough to clear a tall PCB holder or a heated preheater. An aluminum alloy base plate and a silicone pad keep the board steady while you work. A dust-proof lens cover protects the optics between jobs.

Where It Fits on Your Repair Bench

This microscope sits at the centre of microsoldering. Use it before the hot air gun to find the fault: cracked pads, corroded connectors, burnt components, and lifted traces. Use it during the job to guide IC change karna, fine jumper wire work, and BGA placement. Use it after the job to confirm clean joints and no leftover flux.

It also supports ISP-style fine wire soldering on eMMC and UFS test points, where one stray strand ends the job. For tablets and laptop boards, the same zoom range and camera work without change.

Build the workstation around it. Pair it with a hot air station, a soldering station, a PCB holder, reballing kits, and a multimeter for continuity checks after you re-solder. If your shop still works with a magnifier lamp or a single-eyepiece scope, this unit is the next step up: stereo depth plus a camera in one head.

What You Get and Who Should Buy It

The package includes the RF-705OPRO 2KC3 microscope, the RF-2KC3 camera, an aluminum alloy plate, a 144 LED light, a dust-proof lens, a 0.5X CTV lens, and a silicone pad.

Buy it if you run a repair shop, a service centre, or a training bench and you want one scope that serves your eyes, your screen, and your customers. If you want 4K later, RF4 also makes 4K cameras that fit most C-mount trinocular microscopes, so the head stays useful as your needs grow.
