RF-2KC2 2K Camera for Trinocular Microscopes

The RF4 RF-2KC2 is a 2K trinocular microscope camera for mobile phone board repair. A 1/2.8 inch CMOS sensor gives you a 1920×1080 image at 60 frames per second. HDMI sends the live view to your monitor. USB handles saved media and computer connection. A remote control triggers photo and video capture, so your hands stay on the board. The CS lens interface suits C-mount lens setups and most trinocular microscopes. Use it for IC change karna, corrosion checks, charging port repair, and reballing inspection. Confirm your microscope’s camera port before you order.

Description

2K Trinocular Microscope Camera for Phone Board Repair

The RF4 RF-2KC2 is a 2K trinocular microscope camera for phone board work. It mounts on the camera port of your trinocular head, sends a live 1920×1080 image to a monitor over HDMI, and saves photos and video to a USB drive. When you change an IC, clean a corroded pad, or chase a hardware fault on a dead phone board, you work from a large screen instead of the eyepieces. Your neck and eyes stay relaxed through a long shift.

Sensor, Frame Rate and Output

RF4 fits the RF-2KC2 with a 1/2.8 inch 2K CMOS sensor and 1920×1080 effective pixels. The camera runs at 60 frames per second and resolves 900 lines. At 60 frames per second, motion on screen follows your tweezers and hot air nozzle closely. That live feedback matters when you place a small part on a pad and need it right the first time.

Two output paths cover most benches. HDMI drives your monitor. USB supports saved media on a USB drive and adds a computer connection. The remote control triggers capture, so you do not nudge the microscope while you shoot.

Mounting, Power and Model Choice

The camera uses a CS lens interface. RF4 lists the RF-2KC2 family as compatible with C-mount lens and most trinocular microscopes. Check your microscope’s camera port and any adapter before you order. The mount decides fit, and resolution does not.

Power input runs from 5V to 12V DC. Expect up to 400mA at 5V and up to 200mA at 12V. Confirm your adapter or bench supply sits inside that range, then test the HDMI cable and monitor input together on first setup.

Choose the RF-2KC2 over the RF-2KC8 when you need capture. The RF-2KC8 has no photo function, no video recording, no storage, and no operating system. The RF4 RF-2KC2 camera has all four.

Where It Fits in Your Repair Workflow

Start every board job with a camera look. Water damage, burnt charging ports, lifted pads, and cracked IC corners show up clearly on the monitor. You pick the repair path before you apply heat. Charging issue and display problem boards need quick checks around connectors and small passive parts, and the screen makes those checks faster to repeat.

During rework, pair the camera with a hot air station or soldering station. Watch the solder flow on screen while you lift or place a chip. Reballing work gains from the same view. Set your reballing kit stencil, check ball alignment, and confirm the reflow result on the monitor. Clamp the board in a PCB holder so it stays steady under the lens, and keep a multimeter beside you to test what the image suggests. On a dead after flash board, the camera helps you rule out a hardware fault before you blame the software.

Photo and video capture give you a record. Save before and after shots of each repair, and show your customer the actual fault instead of describing it. Training institutes can also push the live view to a wall display for a whole class. Pair the RF-2KC2 with a trinocular microscope from the RF4 range and your bench has a complete inspect, repair and verify setup.
